John-Mark Schlink is an artist and educator whose practice is focused in printmaking and drawing, often exploring the intersection of memory, architecture and landscape. He holds an MFA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a BA from Hamline University, supplemented by studies in architectural theory. Currently, he serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Digital + Studio Art Department at Hamline University where he also acts as the Director of Exhibitions and the Hamline University Permanent Art Collection.

Schlink has established an international presence, with his work selected for exhibitions such as: the 2024 Guanlan International Print Biennial in China, the 2018 Krakow International Print Triennial in Poland, and the 2nd International Triennial of Graphic Arts in Bosnia and Herzegovina. His work is represented in institutional collections including: the China Printmaking Museum, the Krakow Print Society in Poland, the Print Association Bentlage in Germany, the Taller Experimental De Grafica in Cuba, the Pacific Rim International Print Collection in New Zealand and the Museum of Texas Tech University.

In addition to his studio practice, Schlink is active in the arts community as a juror and grant reviewer, having served the Minnesota State Arts Board, Highpoint Center for Printmaking and various colleges and universities. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Mid America Print Council and the Boston Printmakers.
